Narrator review, design and launch preparation

The group discussed quote sign-offs, the foreword, visual material, edition choices and what could be shown at the October gathering.

This page records the discussion on this date. Plans and deadlines below are historical. See the dashboard for current status.

Explain the quote edits and finish the credits

The quote emails should explain how the words had been edited. The foreword needed another pass; individual acknowledgements would move to the acknowledgements section. Narrator profiles and photographs were proposed for the back of the book.

Compare editions with the same interior

The hardbound and softbound editions would share the inside pages. The group discussed paper, binding, a wafer-inspired cover and visual references drawn from TI and India. These were design references, not approved production specifications.

Ask for the material the pages need

The team wanted an archive walkthrough with Raghav and Aditya, a chapter-specific image list, and names, dates and locations for captions. Several narrator bios and photograph collections needed follow-up.

Separate the gathering from a manuscript review

The group did not want the October gathering to become an uncontrolled review of an unfinished book. A controlled video shoot with willing participants was discussed separately. Festival scheduling and launch sales planning still needed confirmation.
