Build a complete reading sequence

The short chapters would become the design base. Front matter and the ending still needed work. Interludes would vary by section, while narrator profiles would give contributors a place at the back.

Agree how each piece will appear

The team discussed whether to keep commissioned pieces whole or divide them around the oral history. Writers needed to know how their work would be used.

Actions recorded at the time

Drishti: Prepare the chapter folder, develop the front and back matter, and agree commission placement.
Nikhil: Prepare the checking process and arrange further editorial support.
Editorial: Set quote and name conventions before the files reach design.
