Story structure and commissioned writing

The editorial discussion set out a quote-led book, supported by reporting on Bangalore, government policy and the GCC industry.

This page records the discussion on this date. Plans and deadlines below are historical. See the dashboard for current status.

Let the interviews carry the book

The proposed arc moved from the founding decision through training, culture and technical work to the wider city. Personal costs should stay in the story. The ending should make room for uncertainty about Bangalore’s future.

Use reporting to widen the account

The team discussed commissions on the city before TI India, the political and bureaucratic context, and the later GCC industry. The reporting would add context beyond the founders’ recollections.
